The Montana Chamber Foundation
Our Mission "To promote, advance, improve, and participate in research and educational projects for the purpose of encouraging the economic development of the state of Montana and its communities, the advancement of all fields of education, lessening the burdens of government, elimination of prejudice and discrimination, and combating community deterioration." |
The Foundation promotes and improves the economic development opportunities of the state and its communities by participating in educational projects and research. Through the Foundation, we work on economic education, economic development, and community viability.
The Montana Chamber Foundation is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization run by a 12 member Board of Directors. The major projects of the Foundation are the annual Montana Chamber & Governors’ Cup golf tournament and the Montana High School Business Challenge, formerly Montana Business Week. Other projects that fit within the mission of the Foundation may be supported as well.
The Montana High School Business Challenge, formerly known as Montana Business Week is designed to bring economics and business education to Montana high schools.
The annual Montana Chamber and Governors’ Cup golf tournament brings top executives to Montana for a taste of what Montana can offer a business.
Our permanent endowment is in place to ensure the goals of the Foundation are continued long into the future. Our permanent endowment will benefit from contributions from businesses that are interested in the Montana endowment tax credit. This is a very favorable benefit to businesses and helps the Montana Chamber Foundation secure its future viability.
